The Pandemic Paradox.
October 2021. COVID-19 vaccines are saving lives. Yet many people during the pandemic were reluctant to get the shots. There have been 1,166,944 infections and 9,181 coronavirus-related deaths reported in the country since the pandemic began.

To encourage vaccination - and show that the virus can be disarmed easily we created JEWELRY-19. The first jewelry line made by a glassblower who contains COVID-19 positive.

The Capture Of COVID-19.
We used a technique that lets us clearly see inflated air bubbles. Every glass piece needed long processing and polishing to make the 'virus inside' visible. To create the piece, a rather long object with a longitudinal air cavity inside was blown, additionally using a special powder that causes a certain reaction "bubbling" while the glass is still very hot. ____ The project was recognized by the Lithuanian design association as top 3 in the jewelry category.
